Standing on the verge of the semiannual settlement

In recent years, it has become more common for companies to announce financial results quarterly. Now is the time for the semiannual settlement. I have received many reports from various companies. Reading them, I found that many companies stroke midterm dividend. It is the tide of the times to promote the interests of shareholders. I believe this is a good thing.

Individual shareholders want to receive dividends several times a year rather than only once a year. More dividends are better, whether they be for Individual shareholders, corporation shareholders, or institutional investors.

In Japan, it has been a broad recognition that a successful business people attach importance to the amount of internal revenue fund. This means that the interests of the shareholders has been long neglected in Japan. I am glad to see that such a misconception is being gradually dispelled. Of course, it is important to bolster the internal revenue fund. However, in my view, it is a matter of shame for business people to bolster the internal revenue funds without distributing the proceeds to shareholders.

JSB is planning to announce its semiannual settlement on the last day of December. It is now down to the wire. I am expecting that the sales increase by 130% and the net earnings by 400%. This excellent business performance is attributed to the great efforts of my employees. To make an auspicious start in the memorable 11th year of JSB, every member of the company is trying hard to do their businesses. I am so grateful to it.

Our industry is going through an enormous period of growth. I see many companies and individuals popping up. I think that this situation will continue at least for the time being. Many rival companies have gotten listed. Their share prices are generally keeping high. This shows that many people trust the growing capabilities of parking business.

I always feel an appreciation for our land owners, who lend us their precious lands. I hope I can repay them for their generosity. In order to externalize this basic philosophy, JSB is planning to hold various events to express our appreciation of them as part of its 10th anniversary celebration.
